How the two positions work
Every round draws exactly two cards from a shuffled 52-card deck, one after the other. Only the rank matters — suits are decoration, so a chosen King is matched by any of the four Kings in the deck.
| Position | What it means | Settlement |
|---|---|---|
| First card — the outer pass | Your rank appears on the card drawn first | Stake is lost |
| Second card — the apsis | Your rank appears on the card drawn second | Pays 1 : 1, stake returned |
| Neither card | Your rank stays in the shoe this round | Push — stake returned in full |
The shoe carries on from round to round and is rebuilt and reshuffled once it runs low, so the count you see above the table is the real number of cards remaining.
Table notes
- The stake leaves your balance the moment the pass is sent, and is credited back on a win or a push.
- Betting is disabled until a rank is selected, and any stake larger than your balance is greyed out.
- Run the balance down and the deal button locks with a message; Reset coins restores the starting 1,000 at any time.
- Nothing is stored. Refreshing the page starts a clean session with a fresh deck.
